Diana

One of the classic toy cameras, orginally made in Hong Kong but no longer in production. This cheaply made "toy" has been embraced by creative artists and photographers because of its unique characterics--especially the shoddy plastic lens which makes the image dark and blurry around the edges of the frame. This medium format (4x4 cm, 120 film) delight was manufactured in the 60s and 70s by the "Great Wall Plastic Comany." You can find them on ebay, but they're not as inexpensive as they used to be.

Faults/Strengths: Vignetting; blurriness and distortion especially at edges; ability to easily make double-exposures; light leaks.
